About

Welcome to our Online Business Guide.

We are here to help you set up and run your own business. It is important to plan your business carefully. Before you start, you should be aware of what’s involved in starting and running a business in Australia.

To help you get started, we have developed a business checklist covering many of the basic issues you need to consider; such as how to get started in business, writing your business plan and marketing plan, getting legal help, setting up business names, developing company structures and possible tax issues.

Once you have looked at the startup process it may be time to consider such things as branding, logos, and work areas.

Next you will want to consider Getting online. This may entail getting a new web design in much the same way a business card was once used or it may involve a full ecommerce website where your customers can purchase your products and/or services.

Developing an ongoing marketing budget would be important to cover services that you will require such as website hosting, digital marketing which may include search engine optimisation (SEO), Google AdWords marketing, social media and business directory listings for your website. If all these items are new to you, you should consider contacting a digital agency to prepare a full digital strategy for you.

While there are some startups that hire different agencies to take care of the various aspects involved in setting up a business, we believe that it is a better and wiser course of action to source your startup service requirements to as few service providers as possible. This has one supreme advantage – all your needs can be taken care of under one roof, and they can all be interlinked and tailor-made according to your individual requirements. This allows for a smoother startup process, and you can avoid the glitches that occur when there are multiple agencies involved.
